Vivian Brooklyn Chen

Vivian Brooklyn Chen is an indispensable member of SBA as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Partners. Her over 10 years of experience assisting C-Level executives and partners allows her to anticipate the Partners’ needs and complete tasks with an ease and simplicity that only comes naturally to someone as dedicated to serve as her. Her compulsive need to perfect every little detail results in impeccable work the Partners appreciate immensely.

Vivian has worked in large corporations in both Asia and America—from UBS Taiwan to Merrill Lynch in New York City. Furthermore, she has been invited to numerous programs and seminars by bulge-bracket firms, such as Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.

Originally from Taiwan, Vivian came to America at age 14 to attend the prestigious Cate School before graduating from Harvard University with a degree in Neuroscience and a Secondary in Mind/Brain/Behavior. Not only is Vivian fluent in the study of the human brain, she has also had research experience in radio astronomy and astrophysics, having been the former student of Paul Ho, currently the Director of the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (the largest astronomical telescope in the world).

Shubho Chatterjee

Shubho Chatterjee started his career with a stint in the Automotive sector learning the fundamentals of JIT systems. Thereafter, he joined Bell Laboratories, then part of Lucent Technologies (now Nokia), where he was accountable for technology development and transfer to Lucent's global subsidiaries and its clients. A brief start-up stint developing automation systems for back-office operations was followed by Chief Information Officer roles at Miami Jewish Health Systems and IKS Health. Subsequently, Shubho was appointed the Global Vice President of Quality at Tiffany and Company, the Luxury Jeweler. He also served as Business Transformation Head at Independence Blue Cross, a Health Insurance company and as COO of Worxpertise LLC, a technology service provider in Supply Chain Management and CRM. Shubho currently serves as the President of Levensloop, an e-learning company, and is also a Principal at SBA LLC, a technology service provider.

Shubho is experienced in Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Technology, Outsourcing, and Service industries.

Shubho holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, MS in Industrial Engineering, MS in Materials Science, and BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a registered Professional Engineer.

Ana Paula de Castro

Ana Paula de Castro has over 20 years of experience in internal due diligence for middle sized corporate reorganization, contributing to the advisement of business risk management, supporting corporate governance and financial advisory – working in several different sectors such as IT, Media, Real Estate, Agribusiness, industry, Retail, infrastructure and others.

Ana Paula holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and has received awards in International Business, Marketing and Human Resources from the University of California Los Angeles – UCLA.

Ana Paula was also Latin America VP of Merrill DataSite, starting the operation in 2008, President of ACG Brazil (Association for Corporate Growth), President and founder of the M&A Committee at WTCBC (World trade Center Business Club) and co-founder and current Senior Institutional VP of IBREI – Brazilian Institute of International Relations. Ana Paula speaks Portuguese (native), English and Spanish.

Guilherme Butti

Guilherme Butti’s career spans over 30 years working to help multinational and national companies expand, franchise and market their physical locations. His work has included planning and implementing expansion plans for high street shops and shopping malls, network franchises, subsidiaries with their own stores, supermarket chains, financial institutions, schools, laundries, bars and restaurants, cosmetic, and drugstore chains.

Clients have included the Silvio Santos Group (Pan American Bank and Chest of Happiness), Grupo Ultra (Ultragaz), Brahma Brewery Co. (AmBev), Inbrafiltro Group (Textile), Supermarkets Giggo, Elidio Bar, Shoes Asdurian (Noa Noa), Data Byte, Banco Cacique , Laundries Dry Clean USA, Inbrafiltro Group, and CBD – Center for Diagnostics Brazil.

Guilherme has undergraduate and master degrees in marketing management and advertising. His undergraduate focus was in product management from ESPM-SP while his post graduate work has been in international marketing at FSJT-SP, with advanced specialization in strategic franchising and territorial expansion in the U.S., Spain and Italy. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Italian.

David Barzilay

David Barzilay is a Senior, multilingual Global Growth expert with strategic and regional marketing, sales, product management, partnerships and community building experience in the Software, Startup, Telecommunications, and Non-profit industries.

David has built geographically dispersed, highly collaborative teams to work on challenging and complex projects, engaging with community volunteers and members, purchase influencers and C-level decision-makers, delivering results beyond expectations.

His corporate experience includes working with and for Fortune 100 global organizations like Red Hat, IBM, Dell, HP, Salesforce, Marketo, Cloudera, Alibaba and SKY TV. He is also a startup co-founder and mentor.

Dr. Mark Baptista

Mark Baptista is president & CEO of MAB – Medical Agri Business LLC, a Boston-based consulting firm providing animal and veterinary expertise in areas including agribusiness sales and services, management of animal production/husbandry and professional health services.

Mark has served as executive director of AMIVEQ 1989-96, a state equine practitioners’ association. He has been a member of the ABRAVEQ, AAEP, and AVMA organizing committees for professional development and continuing education conferences. He is also an active member of his community providing leadership and hands-on involvement with numerous museums, schools, local government groups and non-profit organizations.

An advocate for the publication of reliable international trade data, Mark has authored materials published in the World Veterinary Association and U.S. Commercial Service among others.

Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Animal Science and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He also holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Framingham State University where he is currently on the faculty for International Education. He has also completed executive education programs at Staples (corporate) and MetroWest Leadership Academy. He is certified by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security FEMA training, State of Massachusetts Animal Response Team (SMART).

Mark was born and raised, and currently lives in the U.S. where he learned American English. Mark is also fluent in Portuguese having lived in Brazil for 15 years.

Gerry Vos

Gerry Vos is an international business leader with deep expertise in strategic investment, business development, and team building. As the founder of Gerry Vos, LLC, he specializes in developing strategic relationships for small and midsize companies across the Atlantic and globally, leveraging his extensive familiarity with US and European business cultures.

With a strategic, hands-on approach, Gerry helps businesses identify investment opportunities, navigate critical business challenges, and assemble high-performing teams to drive sustained profitability, productivity, and scalable growth.

His recent business activities focus on environmental sustainability, regenerative agriculture, bio-based alternatives to traditional plastics, and ag-tech solutions. His interest in IoT and AI-powered innovations has led him to work in Industry 5.0 and digital accessibility solutions for people with disabilities. Gerry is also an active mentor, supporting both executive peers and young professionals within his network.

Gerry began his career in sales at IBM before transitioning to the financial markets, where he held senior management roles at EF Hutton, Prudential Bache, Brom & Co, MeesPierson Capital Management/Fortis Investment, ING/Furman Selz, Brown Brothers Harriman, Fulcrum, and CRT Capital. His expertise spans building and optimizing global asset management trading teams, advising on operational challenges, and enhancing financial performance.

Born and raised in The Netherlands, Gerry relocated permanently to New York in 1998. He holds a BBA from Nijenrode University (1978) and is fluent in English, Dutch, and German, with conversational proficiency in French.

David Simpson

David Simpson is Principal and Co-Founder of MorristownThree, a consultancy serving the leadership of early and growth stage media and technology companies with coordinated strategies and implementation plans to meet aggressive business targets. Joyce E. Salazar

Joyce E. Salazar’s 28 years of experience in project creation, funding and project management provides a unique combination of proven skills that enhance the successful outcome on any project in the US or Globally. Her skills range from project conception to completion. In addition, Joyce Salazar owns and operates a nationally recognized grant writing training program around the United States and her proprietary grant training system has shaped successful outcomes by training local governments, higher education, and corporate executives in grant research, writing and submission of applications and government contracting under J.E Salazar Grant Educational Systems.

Joyce E. Salazar and her team of 35 professional research and writing staff have been preparing and submitting successful government grant applications for over 28 years. Joyce Salazar will continue to utilize government funding as a key component of the capital stack in development projects. Joyce Salazar along with the key experience of preparation and submission of formal grant applications on county state and federal level also is a government relations specialist monitoring the changes in government funding.

Joyce Salazar has expanded her company to include a division under Strategic Business Alliance that includes working extensively with EB5 regional centers and direct foreign and US equity investment into projects the company represents. Joyce Salazar has acquired funding for multi-million-dollar projects with a combination of government grants, tax credits, and equity investment creating a successful outcome for clients.

Her mission is to create a combination of Government Funding, Public Private Partnerships, EB 5 Foreign Investment Capital, Government Contracting and other available funding sources to create a project that will enhance job creation and the lives of the people in the community. The successful combination of public/private partnerships, foreign investment EB5 capital, government grants and tax credits while deploying strategic negotiations and planning strategies are key components in her success.

Francisco Paschoal

Francisco Paschoal is a seasoned business leader with extensive international experience in Fortune 100 companies as Caterpillar and BASF and as CEO of privately held middle market companies. Currently is a board member, Mentor, Business Coach and Business Consultant.

He has a huge international experience, living and/or conducting lived and conducted business in Brazil, USA, Chile, Argentina. In most of Latin American countries as well as Europe and Japan. Francisco has an in depth understanding of Strategy, Change Management, Leadership and Team Building and Talent Development. His experience in Strategic Planning, Finance, Marketing and Business Acumen adds relevant insights to his clients.

He believes that a leader’s ability to fully comprehend critical success factors and the quality of the decision-making process are essential for delivering superior performance in the constant changing and disrupting environment.

Francisco holds a BA in Economics from University of Sao Paulo, an Advanced Management Program -AMP from INSEAD and is a Certified Executive Coach by Columbia University – NY. He currently lives in Greater NY area.
